Apple and NBCUniversal today announced a partnership to offer a bundled subscription for their streaming services, Apple TV+ and Peacock. The bundle, which becomes available on October 20, will be priced at $14.99 per month for the Peacock Premium tier and $19.99 per month for Peacock Premium Plus. This collaboration is seen as a move to better compete with streaming giants like Netflix and Disney+ by offering a wider range of content, from Apple's original programming like "Ted Lasso" and "Severance" to Peacock's live sports, including the NBA, and popular shows. The partnership represents a significant consolidation in the streaming market as companies seek to attract and retain subscribers. In a separate but related development for its services, Apple also announced that the companion app for its Vision Pro headset will be coming to the iPad with the release of iPadOS 26.1.
