Apple today announced a partnership with Spectrum SportsNet to broadcast select live Los Angeles Lakers games in Apple Immersive Video on the Apple Vision Pro during the 2025-26 NBA season. This will offer viewers a courtside-like experience with unique camera perspectives not possible in traditional broadcasts. The immersive content will be captured using a new URSA Cine Immersive Live camera from Blackmagic Design. While the game schedule will be released later this fall, the first immersive broadcast is slated for early 2026. Full game replays and highlights will also be available in the Spectrum SportsNet and NBA apps on the Vision Pro in select regions. This collaboration signals Apple's continued effort to build out the content ecosystem for its spatial computing platform.
