Absci announced preliminary details for its Phase 2 STORYLINE™ clinical trial of ABS-201. The generative AI-designed antibody targets endometriosis. This milestone marks the advancement of the company’s AI-engineered drug platform into efficacy testing.
The global, multi-center trial will utilize a randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled design. Researchers aim to assess the efficacy and safety of ABS-201 in approximately 150 participants. Eligible patients must have surgically-diagnosed endometriosis and moderate to severe pain.
Absci expects to initiate the trial in mid-2027. The launch remains subject to regulatory clearance and data from the ongoing Phase 1 study.
