Adobe has released a new report, "From Assistants to Agents: The AI Evolution in India," revealing a significant surge in the use of agentic AI within the country. The study, which surveyed over 2,000 Indian consumers, found that one in three already utilize agentic AI, with 44% expecting to adopt it within the next year. This adoption rate is notably higher than the APAC average. The report highlights that this trend is causing structural shifts in how consumers in India shop, travel, and create. For instance, 73% of Indian consumers now rely on AI for shopping decisions, and 92% value it for end-to-end trip planning. This indicates a strong consumer appetite for AI-driven automation and personalized experiences, positioning Adobe's AI-powered tools for future growth in this key market.
