Amazon announced on October 17, 2025, that it will be increasing its fulfillment fees for third-party sellers, with the changes set to take effect on January 15, 2026. The fee hikes will affect sellers using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), Buy with Prime, and Multi-Channel Fulfillment services. On average, the fulfillment fee per unit will go up by $0.08, although the specific increase will vary depending on the product's size and price. For instance, a small item priced over $50 will see a $0.51 per-unit fee increase. The company stated that these increases are less than what major shipping carriers have implemented over the past two years. In addition to the fulfillment fee adjustments, Amazon is also increasing storage fees for its Amazon Warehousing and Distribution in the West region and introducing more granular pricing for its inbound placement services.
