Alibaba Group launched "Alibaba Wonder on Ice," an interactive public installation in Milan. Located at the Sforza Castle, the installation demonstrates AI and cloud computing potential for future virtual retail. This showcase supports the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The installation is part of Alibaba's partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Chairman Joe Tsai stated the initiative shifts the focus from "Cloud Olympics" toward "Intelligent Olympics." Tsai noted the use of AI will make the games more exciting and connected.
