Bank of America (BofA) has entered a multi-year community impact partnership with the Portland Timbers, a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. Starting in 2026, BofA’s logo will appear prominently on the team’s home and away jerseys. This marks the first time the financial institution’s brand will feature on a professional sports jersey.

The collaboration extends beyond jersey sponsorship to include several community-focused initiatives. These programs specifically support local youth and small businesses across Oregon and Southwest Washington.

The youth initiatives boast specific deliverables. BofA will fund the building or resurfacing of 10 futsal courts and offer 50 free youth soccer camps. Furthermore, the partnership commits to donating $200,000 worth of soccer equipment to schools and community groups.

The collaboration also establishes platforms designed to support local small businesses. Separately, the partnership will provide game access to low-income families.
