Baidu has entered into a partnership with Korean AI chip startup DeepX to integrate its technology into Baidu's PaddlePaddle development framework. The deal will make DeepX's DX-M1 AI chip available to companies developing products for smart-city infrastructure, autonomous driving, and image recognition on Baidu's platform. Baidu has already verified the performance and accuracy of the DX-M1 chip within its own AI and robotics models, confirming it meets industrial standards. As part of the collaboration, the two companies will also work together on optimizing and distributing a new server chip specifically designed for Vision-AI applications, which is expected to be commercially produced this year.
