Coinbase’s Base App is discontinuing its creator rewards program. The application is also removing its Farcaster-based social feed. This pivot focuses the app exclusively on tradable assets. Base creator Jesse Pollak stated the move centers the app’s core function on trading.
The creator rewards program ends this Sunday. Coinbase will distribute final payments on February 18.
