Circle's Chief Strategy Officer, Dante Disparte, highlighted the growing momentum towards global coordination for stablecoin regulation on November 5, 2025. He pointed to the US Genius Act and the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework as key blueprints for creating a transparent and secure environment for stablecoins. Disparte emphasized that such regulatory alignment is critical for the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology by large enterprises that prioritize safety and soundness. Disparte noted that the rapid growth in global stablecoin circulation, which doubled from January 2024 to June 2025, reflects increasing institutional interest. He stated that Circle, which issues the Mica-compliant USDC and EURC stablecoins, is focused on meeting local compliance requirements while providing a unified user experience. The ultimate impact of stablecoins, he argued, will be measured by the resilience and efficiency of the future financial system.
