Google launched a beta version of a new feature for the Google Translate app. This function provides real-time, in-ear translations through headphones. The system preserves the original speaker's tone, cadence, and emphasis, making cross-language conversations easier to follow.
The beta feature is currently available on Android devices. It supports over 70 languages and works with any compatible headphones. Initial geographic availability includes the United States, Mexico, and India.
Google plans to expand the service to iOS devices and additional countries. This expansion is scheduled for sometime in 2026.
