YouTube TV has removed all 21 Disney-owned channels, including major networks like ABC, ESPN, FX, and the Disney Channel, from its live TV streaming service. The blackout, which began on October 30, 2025, is the result of a failed carriage agreement between Google and Disney, with both companies publicly blaming each other for the inability to reach a deal on licensing fees. Affecting approximately 10 million subscribers, the dispute has led to the loss of popular programming, including live sports and network shows. In response to the disruption, YouTube TV announced it would be offering a $20 credit to its customers, starting November 9, 2025, as long as the channels remain unavailable. There is currently no timeline for a resolution to the contract negotiations.
