Samsung announced a partnership with Google to bring the Google Photos experience to its AI-powered smart TVs starting in 2026. The integration will begin in March 2026 with the "Memories" feature, which will be exclusive to Samsung TVs for the first six months, allowing users to view curated photo and video collections on the big screen.
This collaboration will further expand in the second half of 2026 with the introduction of two additional features: "Create with AI" and "Personalized Results." These will allow users to create themed templates and view topic-based slideshows directly on their televisions. The Google Photos integration will be available on new 2026 Samsung TV models and will also be rolled out to some existing models through a software update.
