The expansion coincides with the recent opening of JPMorgan's new 2.5 million-square-foot headquarters at 270 Park Avenue.

The move suggests the bank is not immediately consolidating its office footprint and is still growing. This follows another recent expansion at its 390 Madison Avenue offices.
