The new Bilt Card 2.0 program goes live on February 7, 2026. The previous Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard retired after February 6. All subsequent attempted transactions, including rent payments, will be declined.
Existing cardholders transitioned seamlessly to one of three new Bilt Cards. They retained their original card number without a hard credit inquiry.
The program changes how rent and mortgage payments are processed. Payments now draw directly from a linked bank account, bypassing the card's credit line. Users continue to earn points on these monthly expenses.
