Meta Platforms is rolling out a new AI-powered feature on its Threads platform called "Dear Algo." The tool allows users to temporarily personalize their content feed by publishing a public post with requests in natural language.
By starting a post with the phrase "Dear Algo," users can ask to see more or less of certain topics, such as live events or news, influencing their feed's recommendations for up to three days. The feature, which was inspired by a user-led trend, has been in testing and is now expanding to users in the United States.
