NVIDIA announced on Sunday its plan to significantly expand its research and development presence in southern Israel by moving its Beersheva center to a new, larger facility. The new site, located in Gav-Yam's high-tech park near Ben-Gurion University, will be three times the size of the current location, spanning approximately 3,000 square meters (32,292 square feet). The expansion is accompanied by a plan to hire hundreds of new employees, including chip developers, hardware and software engineers, and architects. The teams at this center will focus on developing advanced hardware and software for AI networking, including NVIDIA's Spectrum-X Ethernet, Quantum-X InfiniBand, and BlueField DPUs. The new, larger facility is expected to be fully operational by the middle of 2026.
