NVIDIA informed board partners that it is delaying the release of the rumored RTX 50 Super series graphics cards.

The refreshed lineup was speculated to include the RTX 5080 Super and the RTX 5070 Ti Super models. Analysts had anticipated a reveal at CES 2026, but the event passed without an announcement.

The delay stems from two key factors. First, the existing non-Super RTX 50 series GPUs continue to post strong sales. Second, NVIDIA faces a lack of significant competitive pressure from AMD in the high-end market. This combination reduces the immediate need for NVIDIA to introduce refreshed models to maintain its market position.
