Oracle announced a strategic collaboration with the Cancer Center Informatics Society (Ci4CC) to accelerate the use of artificial intelligence in oncology care and research. The partnership, revealed at the 24th Cancer Center Informatics Society Symposium, aims to combine Oracle's technology with Ci4CC's network of cancer centers. The collaboration will focus on designing an electronic health record (EHR) system specifically for cancer care, integrating clinical and genomic data for personalized medicine. Further goals include developing AI-driven methods for clinical trials and drug development, and establishing frameworks for real-world evidence. The agreement between Oracle and the nonprofit organization is currently non-binding.
