Oracle announced the U.S. availability of its Clinical AI Agent for nurses. This new tool reduces administrative tasks and streamlines hospital care. The agent embeds within the Oracle Health Foundation electronic health record (EHR) system. It aims to free nurses from extensive documentation. This allows more time for direct patient care.

The tool utilizes voice commands for patient chart navigation. It provides AI-generated summaries of acute nursing information. It also allows voice-enabled data entry at the point of care. Oracle states its existing Clinical AI Agent for physicians saved over 400,000 hours in documentation time. BayCare Health System is an early tester of these new nursing capabilities.
