Oracle announced the Digital Assets Data Nexus, a new platform designed to help banks and financial institutions adopt and manage blockchain-based digital assets. The announcement was made at the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas. The platform aims to simplify the process for banks to enter the digital assets space by addressing key challenges such as security, regulatory compliance, scalability, and integration with existing systems. Powered by Oracle Blockchain and Oracle AI Database 26ai, the platform will provide a multi-ledger infrastructure and pre-built smart contracts for tokenization. It will support both permissioned and public blockchains and can be deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, on-premises, or other public clouds. Oracle expects the Digital Assets Data Nexus to be available in the next calendar year, though the company noted that release timing and features could change.
