Ørsted and partner Nuveen Infrastructure inaugurated the 913 MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. This facility represents Ørsted's largest operational offshore wind project in Germany. The farm generates enough renewable electricity to power nearly one million German households annually.

The project matches the scale of conventional power plants to support national energy security and decarbonization. Amazon, Google, and BASF serve as primary corporate off-takers for the site's green electricity. This launch expands Ørsted's global construction portfolio and strengthens its position in the offshore wind market.
