Mike Wald, co-president of distribution and networks for Sony Pictures Television, will retire at year-end. He concludes a 32-year tenure with the company.
Wald grew Sony's global distribution business. He managed licensing of the company's film and television library across international markets and platforms.
Jason Spivak and Paul Littmann will be promoted to presidents. They will jointly lead the distribution and networks division.
Both executives will report to Keith Le Goy, chairman of Sony Pictures Television. This leadership change marks a significant transition for a key Sony operational unit.
