ServiceTitan released its first annual industry report on AI in the Skilled Trades, revealing rapid adoption within the sector. The report surveyed over 1,000 contractors. Currently, 46% of contractors are using or experimenting with AI tools, and 72% believe the technology is relevant to their business operations.
The pursuit of efficiency drives AI adoption, cited by 74% of respondents. A majority, 59%, prefer AI features embedded directly into their existing software platforms.
The primary barriers identified were a lack of training and difficulties with integration. The report highlights tangible benefits, citing customer Gulfshore Air, which reported a 53% year-over-year revenue increase after implementation.
