Severe winter storms across North America caused significant travel disruptions. United Airlines canceled 20 flights and delayed 64 others. Snow, ice, and high winds drove the widespread disruptions.
The storms impacted several of United’s key hubs, including Denver International (KDEN), LaGuardia (KLGA), and Washington Dulles (KIAD). Cancellations also affected passengers traveling to and from major airports such as Los Angeles (KLAX), Newark (KEWR), and San Francisco (KSFO).
United Airlines issued advisories for potential further delays. Severe weather is expected to continue throughout the weekend, leaving many travelers stranded during the busy holiday season.
