Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will announce major long-term memory chip supply deals with U.S. technology companies this Friday.

The announcements will occur during an AI summit in San Francisco. South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and the heads of both chipmaking giants will attend the event.

A senior South Korean official stated the agreements involve very large figures and establish strategic alliances. The deals prioritize securing high-bandwidth memory (HBM) for AI data centers.
