Ticker Report ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Ticker Report website (https://ticker.report) and mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services.

By using Ticker Report, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Anonymous User Identifiers

When you first use our mobile app, we generate a random unique identifier (UUID) to associate your preferences with your account. This identifier is not linked to your real name, email, or any other personal information unless you choose to provide it.

2.2 Information You Provide Voluntarily

• Email Address — Only if you opt in to receive newsletters or email notifications.
• Stock Watchlist — Ticker symbols you choose to follow (e.g., AAPL, TSLA).
• Notification Preferences — Your choices for news alerts, price movement alerts, and minimum importance thresholds.

2.3 Subscription Data

If you subscribe to a premium plan, your payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. We receive only:

• Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled)
• Subscription type (monthly or yearly)
• Expiration and renewal dates

Subscription verification is handled through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. See their privacy policy for details.

2.4 Automatically Collected Data

• Usage Activity — We record when your account was last active to maintain service quality.
• Google Analytics — Our website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics such as page views, traffic sources, and general geographic region. Google Analytics uses cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

2.5 Optional Connected Brokerage Data

If you choose to connect a brokerage portfolio, the connection is provided by SnapTrade. Your brokerage sign-in and multi-factor authentication are handled in SnapTrade's secure connection portal; Ticker Report does not receive your brokerage username or password.

To display your portfolio, we store an encrypted SnapTrade user secret and cached read-only data including connection and account metadata, position symbols and quantities, cost basis, balances, account value, and synchronization timestamps. We combine this data with market quotes to show estimated intraday values and gains or losses. Ticker Report requests read-only access and cannot place trades or move money.

2.6 What We Do NOT Collect

• Real names
• Physical addresses
• Phone numbers
• Device fingerprints or advertising IDs
• Precise location data
• Contacts, photos, or other device data

3. How We Use Your Information

• Personalized Alerts — Delivering stock price movement alerts and news notifications based on your watchlist and preferences.
• Newsletters — Sending daily market summaries and news digests if you opted in with your email.
• Service Improvement — Understanding usage patterns to improve content quality and app performance.
• Subscription Management — Verifying premium access and managing subscription lifecycle.
• Optional Portfolio Display — Displaying connected brokerage holdings and estimating current values, daily changes, and unrealized gains or losses.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Financial Data We Process

Ticker Report is an AI-powered financial news and analysis platform. We process the following publicly available financial data:

• Stock prices, market indices, and trading data from financial data providers
• SEC filings (8-K, 10-K, 10-Q) from public company disclosures
• Earnings reports, transcripts, and calendar data
• News articles and market analysis generated by AI from public sources

If you opt in to the connected portfolio feature, we also process the limited read-only brokerage data described in Section 2.5. This data is used for your portfolio view and is not sent to AI content-generation providers.

5. AI-Generated Content

News articles, summaries, and market analysis on Ticker Report are generated using artificial intelligence models including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and Perplexity AI. These services process publicly available financial data and news — they do not receive or process your personal information.

If you enable push notifications, we use OneSignal to deliver alerts to your device. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app. We send notifications for:

• Significant stock price movements (3%+ changes)
• Major news for stocks on your watchlist
• Market events and earnings alerts

8. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
• We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
• SnapTrade user secrets are encrypted before storage and are never returned to the mobile app.
• Anonymous user IDs ensure that your watchlist and preferences are not linked to your real identity unless you provide an email address.

9. Data Retention

• User profiles and preferences — Retained as long as your account exists.
• Email address — Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Subscription data — Retained for the duration of your subscription plus a reasonable period for billing dispute resolution.
• Connected brokerage data — Retained while the connection or your account exists, and deleted when you disconnect or delete your account, subject to SnapTrade's own legal retention obligations.
• Analytics data — Subject to Google Analytics' retention policies (default 14 months).

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — View your watchlist and preferences within the app.
• Delete your data — Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Opt out of emails — Unsubscribe from newsletters at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Disable notifications — Turn off push notifications through your device settings.
• Disable analytics — Use browser extensions or settings to opt out of Google Analytics.

11. Children's Privacy

Ticker Report is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
