Tesla launched its autonomous Robotaxi service in Miami, Florida, on July 4, 2026. Florida marks the third state where the ride-hailing platform is now operational.

The initial service covers a geofenced area of approximately 10 to 14 square miles. Operations focus on central and western Miami, including Miami International Airport and major expressways.

Miami joins Austin, Dallas, and the San Francisco Bay Area as active service locations. Tesla has progressively rolled out the platform since its initial launch in the summer of 2025.

The expansion into high-traffic tourist zones tests the system's capabilities at scale. This move advances Tesla's strategy to commercialize its autonomous driving technology.
