Alibaba Group Holding Limited announced its AI server fleets now support Moonshot AI’s latest large language model, Kimi K3.

The move targets massive computing demand after Kimi K3 halted new subscriptions within 48 hours of release. Alibaba Cloud aims to become the primary infrastructure provider for developers and enterprises using the model.

This expansion occurs as US semiconductor export controls create a shortage of computing resources for Chinese AI firms. Alibaba is positioning itself as a leader in the domestic AI infrastructure market by demonstrating its ability to handle large-scale models.

The company’s Qwen AI Platform and Alibaba Cloud Bailian will also provide Kimi K3 model APIs.
