Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reports Apple plans to reveal its highly anticipated foldable iPhone in fall 2026. The device, potentially named the 'iPhone Fold,' features a book-style horizontal fold and utilizes a 7.7-inch inner display.

Kuo suggests the foldable phone could become Apple’s most expensive model. The potential price point is $2,400. The launch is scheduled to occur alongside the iPhone 18 Pro.

However, the device faces significant production hurdles. Manufacturing and yield issues are predicted to cause substantial supply shortages immediately following the announcement. Kuo anticipates smooth shipments may not be achieved until well into 2027, limiting availability for at least a year.
