Apple is shifting its Mac processor strategy by skipping the development of high-end M6 Pro and M6 Max chips.
The company will instead focus on launching the M7 chip lineup, including Pro and Max versions, in 2027.
This transition aims to accelerate the integration of on-device artificial intelligence and advanced graphics capabilities.
Apple still plans to release a standard M6 processor for entry-level Mac computers.
