OnePlus will cease operations in the United States and Europe. Parent company Oppo expects to make an official announcement as early as this week. The strategic withdrawal halts all new product launches in these regions.
Oppo is consolidating its brands to focus OnePlus on the Indian and Chinese markets. The restructuring also includes the exit of the Realme brand from the Chinese market. OnePlus will likely transition from an independent entity to a product line within Oppo.
Retailers will sell off all existing OnePlus inventory in the affected regions. Current users in the US and Europe will continue to receive software updates. Oppo will provide after-sales support for the promised lifecycle of existing devices.
