Airbnb introduced a lowest price guarantee for hotel bookings. The company is also testing a loyalty program offering post-stay credits.

The program provides instant discounts and credits of approximately 8-9% on hotel stays. These features are currently available in select markets, including the US and Paris. A wider release is scheduled for May 20.

This initiative targets competition with established online travel agencies. It supports Airbnb's strategy to expand beyond home-sharing. Previous efforts, such as "Experiences," have not yet become significant revenue drivers.
