Accenture confirmed a security breach after a threat actor claimed to be selling 35GB of stolen company data. A hacker using the alias 888 listed the materials on a cybercrime forum.
The stolen cache reportedly includes source code, cloud credentials, and RSA keys. The breach allegedly occurred in July 2026.
Accenture stated it has remediated the source of the attack. The company reports no impact on operations or client service delivery.
