Adobe shares rose nearly 6% following regulatory clearance for its acquisition of Topaz Labs.
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission granted an early termination notice for the deal. Regulators determined the transaction would not substantially lessen competition, allowing the merger to proceed faster than anticipated.
Adobe will integrate Topaz Labs' Emmy Award-winning technology into its Creative Cloud suite. The deal also bolsters Adobe’s Firefly AI services with advanced image and video enhancement software.
