Canva has reportedly lowered its 2026 revenue growth forecast to 20%. This is a reduction from the previous 30% target.

The revision follows the significant financial impact of the company's new artificial intelligence tools. Co-founder Cliff Obrecht stated that the AI suite nearly tripled the firm's overall costs almost instantly.

Executives acknowledged in an internal meeting that the tools were released before their economics were fully finalized. The company has not yet deployed the full AI suite to all users. Canva's main priority is now to reduce these high operational expenses.
