The Allstate Corporation appointed Christian Lown as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Lown officially assumes the role on August 3, 2026. He will report directly to Tom Wilson, the company’s Chair, President, and CEO.

Lown joins Allstate from CoStar Group, where he served as CFO. He brings over 25 years of experience in senior finance and capital markets leadership. His career includes previous CFO roles at Freddie Mac and Navient, as well as senior positions at Morgan Stanley and UBS.

Lown succeeds Jess Merten, who transitioned to President of Property-Liability in October 2025. John Dugenske will continue serving as interim CFO until Lown’s start date.
