Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Cerebras Systems are partnering to develop a new AI inference solution. Announced at the Advancing AI 2026 event, the collaboration integrates AMD Helios rack-scale systems with Cerebras Wafer-Scale Engine technology. The partnership aims to provide ultra-low latency for high-demand AI applications.

The joint system operates as a single workflow where AMD hardware manages high-throughput tasks. Cerebras chips focus on rapid token generation to increase performance per watt.

Cerebras will deploy AMD Helios systems in its data centers during the second half of 2026. The combined solution will be available through the Cerebras Cloud. Cerebras (CBRS) shares rose over 4% following the announcement.
