AMD and Nutanix have entered a multi-year strategic partnership to develop an open, full-stack AI infrastructure platform. This collaboration targets production-ready AI applications across data centers, hybrid environments, and the edge.
AMD will provide a total financial commitment of up to $250 million. The investment includes a $150 million purchase of Nutanix common stock. AMD will also provide $100 million for joint engineering and go-to-market initiatives.
The partnership optimizes the Nutanix Cloud Platform for AMD EPYC CPUs and Instinct GPUs. Both companies expect to launch the first jointly developed products in late 2026.
