AMD signed a memorandum of understanding with Samsung to secure next-generation HBM4 memory. This supply will power the upcoming Instinct MI455X AI accelerators to compete in high-performance computing.
The company also partnered with Celestica to launch Helios, an open-standard rack-scale AI platform. Built on Instinct accelerators, Helios provides hyperscale and enterprise customers with flexible solutions for large-scale AI deployment.
These initiatives aim to broaden AMD's market reach and strengthen its data center portfolio. No immediate market reaction to the announcements was reported.
