AMD will premiere its next-generation graphics technology, FSR Redstone, on December 10, 2025. The new suite of technologies is positioned to compete directly with Nvidia’s DLSS 4.
The technology features ML-based upscaling, frame generation, neural radiance caching, and ML-based ray regeneration. AMD SVP and GM Jack Huynh confirmed the details of the launch.
Huynh also confirmed FSR Redstone will be exclusively available for AMD's RX 9000 series of graphics cards. This move highlights AMD’s strategy: leveraging proprietary technologies to enhance the performance and visual fidelity of its high-end gaming GPUs.
