Amazon announced a significant partnership with Vietnam, aiming to establish the country as a regional hub for e-commerce exports in Southeast Asia. The declaration was made by Amazon's Vice President for International Public Policy & Government Affairs, Susan Pointer, following a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Lê Thành Long in Hanoi. The initiative focuses on bolstering the international market presence of Vietnamese brands through Amazon's platform. The company plans to provide comprehensive online export training and certification for 1,000 local businesses. Additionally, Amazon expressed a desire to increase localization within its electronic components supply chain and to cooperate on training a high-quality workforce in digital technology and AI.
