Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper) secured its first maritime reseller agreements with MTN and Elcome. This low Earth orbit (LEO) network provides high-speed, low-latency internet to ships in major oceans and remote waters.

This move positions Amazon as a direct competitor to SpaceX’s Starlink in the maritime sector. The service utilizes two antenna types.

It delivers speeds up to 1 Gbps. This expansion supports Amazon’s strategy to build advanced satellite communications for global customers.
