Astra Microwave Products Limited announced the conversion of its subsidiary, Astra Space Technologies Private Limited, into a public limited company. The Registrar of Companies approved the name change to Astra Space Technologies Limited (ASTL) effective August 19, 2026.
The transition supports a strategic plan to demerge the company’s Space, Meteorology, and Hydrology business into this dedicated entity. This move establishes a distinct corporate structure for the firm's space-focused operations.
Astra Microwave Products remains the 100% owner of ASTL. The conversion does not alter the subsidiary's existing shareholding pattern.
