The trial successfully randomized 156 patients. This milestone marks a key step toward a major data readout for the company’s clinical pipeline.
ATAI remains on track to report topline results in the fourth quarter of 2026. VLS-01 is a proprietary oral transmucosal film formulation of DMT. The treatment is designed for administration within a two-hour in-clinic session.
Pending positive results, the company plans to advance VLS-01 into a Phase 3 program. This next stage will target the broader major depressive disorder (MDD) indication.
