Aurora Innovation announced a new customer agreement with Charger Logistics, a North American asset-based transportation company. The partnership involves deploying Aurora’s second-generation driverless trucks on the high-volume Dallas to Laredo freight lane.
Charger Logistics will utilize the Aurora Driver to increase freight capacity and improve asset utilization. The collaboration focuses on one of Charger’s busiest corridors in the U.S. Sun Belt.
This is Aurora’s second customer announcement this week following a similar agreement with Value Truck. The company is accelerating the rollout of its new generation of autonomous trucks.
