Broadcom and Samsung launched the first integrated platform for the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) market.
The solution combines 5G technology with the next-generation Wi-Fi 8 standard. It integrates Broadcom’s BCM6776 Wi-Fi 8 System-on-Chip with Samsung’s B1320 5G modem.
This system delivers fiber-level broadband speeds wirelessly to meet global connectivity demands. The unified design reduces costs, simplifies engineering, and lowers power consumption for manufacturers.
Broadcom is currently sampling the platform with early access partners.
