Broadcom established the AI XPV Platform in partnership with anchor investors Apollo and Blackstone’s Credit & Insurance Business. The platform aims to deploy more than 20 gigawatts of global AI compute capacity by 2028.
Broadcom technology will support leading AI labs including Anthropic and OpenAI. Apollo and Blackstone led a landmark $35 billion transaction to launch the initiative.
The initial funding facilitates Anthropic’s expansion of over 1 gigawatt of compute infrastructure. Deployment is expected to begin in mid-2026. This platform creates a scalable framework for financing future AI hardware and infrastructure needs.
