Broadcom and Meta established a strategic partnership through 2029 to expand Meta’s artificial intelligence infrastructure. Broadcom will provide technology for Meta’s custom Training and Inference Accelerator (MTIA) chips and advanced Ethernet networking solutions.
The agreement starts with an initial commitment exceeding one gigawatt of custom silicon. This precedes a planned multi-gigawatt rollout to support generative AI and personal superintelligence features. These tools will serve Meta's billions of users.
The deal solidifies Broadcom’s position as a primary supplier in the AI hardware sector. Meta joins Broadcom’s growing roster of major custom silicon clients.
