U.S. and European regulators are entering the final certification stages for Boeing’s 737 MAX 7 and MAX 10 aircraft. The FAA and EASA report that both variants have completed nearly all technical requirements. Remaining work primarily involves the finalization of regulatory documentation.

The FAA anticipates certifying the smaller MAX 7 variant in the summer of 2026. Regulators expect to approve the larger MAX 10 variant before the end of the year.

These certifications represent a top priority for global aviation officials. Approval enables Boeing to start delivering hundreds of aircraft currently on order. This milestone addresses a critical backlog following years of manufacturing and regulatory delays.
